Jessi developed an eye for design at a young age, creating jewelry and fine art to exhibit and sell at Port Clinton Art Fair in the kids section every summer. Later, she honed her eye for detail while working as a proofreader and junior designer for her mother's award-winning graphic design firm in Highland Park, Illinois.

She obtained her B.A. in Communications & Humanities from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, in 2005, and has since worn a number of different hats in the creative process. From the high-production environment of a print shop to the leadership position of newspaper editor or the demanding rigors of freelance design and writing, Jessi is comfortable in a variety of environments with a proven track record of producing quality work under tight deadlines.
